How , where can I find out what long guns will need to be registered ? Will the mini-14 's need to be registered ? Since they were cash & carry ? How about semi auto shotguns ? 930 spx ? Any info would be helpful,, thanks.

You don't have to register anything. That was remained from the bill.

What's the deal with a home built AK? No serial number on file, no paperwork besides kit receipt. Would that have to be registered?

Why would you EVER register something like that? FWIW, before 1968, there were a lot of firearms sold without serial numbers! They, get this, weren't required! Can you imagine? The anarchy. Oh, wait, not really.

So back to your AK, there are no laws on the books requiring you to register the weapon now, and no law that requires you to register it later AFAIK.
