Meh for me is a snub nose 38.
I don't carry for a living, nor do I have a CC permit either so.

For anyone talking down a 1911, My Kimber with my reloads is putting rounds within a 2" circle @ 25 yards from the bench. Its not hurting my one handed shooting either which has dramatically improved with it and I'm no target shooting compeditor either. AND it looks sexy while doing it.

Taurus Judge or S&W Governor. Can’t imagine carrying all that heft just to send 410 shot at a snake or use in home defense.... That would render it to be used as a 45. I’d rather get a 1911.

You don't just have shot shells for home defense... several companies came up with some wicked looking defensive .410 rounds when those handguns came out.

Like this one... 3 mini slugs and a handful of BB shot. Hornady had something similar with a larger slug and two large buck shot.

My submission would either be the glock 17 or the Springfield xdm in .40, that I was ill advised on buying , prior to knowing that .40 is for losers according to Wes/browning guy.

    Paging doctor hair.

Glocks, they work great, I had a gen3 17 that I carried a lot working on my property. I bought a gen5 26 it also works great, I just don't like them. Both 100% reliable and accurate, eat any bulk ammo I just can't like it enough to enjoy shooting it.

I bought a governor...I mainly shoot 410 slugs from it but the pdx defender ammo was knocking my target stand over at 7 yards...great trigger for a goofy gun and I always liked the thunder 5 as a younger man. They also make specialty 410 ammo that make for interesting shooting.
The taurus raging judge is chambered in 28 gauge. That is a beast...

I'm pretty sure I've seen that one before, but it had a shorter barrel...

I agree with you. To me it's a goofy looking gimmick.
