Did any happen to hear what sounded like a gun fight this morning around 7 am in the vicinity of Leonardtown road south of Renner?

I swear it sounded like a gun battle and it rattled mrsbigjoe's PTSD as she has been in gun battles before of which one resulted in her sustaining a gsw. Actually the sound was significant enough to make me seriously doubt my home defense setup.

It didn't sound like hunting as there were far too many rounds. Sounded like semiautomatic rifle and handguns exchanging fire. I fired up my scanner app but there were no streams at the time. Shortly after I did hear a low flying helicopter.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Duck hunters?
You get 3-4 of them with 1100 Semi Autos cutting loose.
But they are more of a boom than a crack

I heard it too. Not to surprised if it were a gun fight. I had a couple fight in broad day light the other day. Husband throwing wife’s stuff onto the middle of the street and the cops were called. At night around midnight I heard what were 10 shots fired and the next morning my guess was right…this area is going south fast
