h&r ultra slug hunter / scope advice

Just ordered my first shotgun; I went with the 20g ultra slug hunter with the thumb hole stock. I borrowed my friend's the last 2 deer seasons and absolutely loved it. I'm looking for suggestions for a scope for the newest member of the family. Thanks!

Dude! I just ordered the very same gun. My standard optic is the Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40. Have yet to have one fail. It will be a few weeks before I can order my ProStaff so I will be tossing an old Bushnell Banner that I have in the closet on it.

Go with a low power shot gun scope. I have a 1X4 Leupold on mine. Buy the best you can afford. Low power scopes will give you a wider field of view.
