Real old. Like over 100, maybe?

    Let me explain.

When my FIL passed away, in cleaning his house out, I found a couple antique firearms.

One was a American Gun Company double barrel 12 ga exposed hammer shotgun, approx date is sometime in the 1890's I think. It use to belong to my wife's grandfather down in Southern MD. For what ever reason all the screws that held it together were removed along with the firing pins. Father in law lost them some where. We did not find them in the house.

Any ideas on where I can procure those items? (I already checked Numrich)

A good gunsmith could fix it but the cost may be prohibitive. A shop with an extensive bin of old parts might get lucky. Or one would have to determine the thread sizes of the holes where the screws go and either modify existing screws or fabricate them outright on a lathe. The same goes for the firing pins.

There are many more parts companies besides Numrich. Just search old gun parts and you will find them. Some to look for are Jack Frost Gun Parts; Hoosier Gun Works; Bob' Gun Shop (gunparts.com); everygunpart.com.

American Gun Co. parts are probably something you will have to actually call or email about because they are too uncommon for anyone to bother listing.
Here is at least a look at a parts gun:

    Thanks for the hints...
I looked up American Gun Company, and they were pretty much a cheap hardware store shotgun for rural America. Some of the screws. like the side locks for the hammers are thru screws that would have a female and a male and connect inside the stock. The trigger set would actually need wood screws, and would possibly be easy to get. The firing pins are what I think will be the hardest to find.
