This is a great deal. I paid $780 for the 316 in June of 2016 when it looked like Hillary was going to win in November. I took the rifle to the SOTAR armorers class and it checked out in spec. I used the rifle to shoot in NRA service rifle competitions. It's a good brand that I think is a bit underrated.

Grabbed a Del-Ton upper about a year ago and took it to a SOTAR class and was impressed as how little work had to be done on it. Gauged out well. Would recommend it.
In this day and age it’s a pretty good deal at that price point.

3 years ago you could get this rifle in a kit without the stripped lower for $299. I built 4 with 80 percent lowers. Decent shooters for the price

Allans Armory has a handful of Radical Arms SOCOM ARs for $700 apiece. I don't know if they're HBAR, or anything else about them, but they're certainly cheap enough.

I was able to get a rifle like that from Gym Ratz that was MD compliant for $500 about 2 to 3 yrs ago. So far no complaints and I so far I have upgraded the BCG, added a scope and it has become a reliable rifle and would get another one as well.

I've never had a problem with grabagun shipping with standard capacity mags. They have called me in the past though to make sure I knew the laws and I was ok with it.
