Help finding a used 20 in A2 Barrel

I am chasing a 20 inch barrel for my last AR build... BCM and PSA have some that are not priced out of this world....

I'm building a semi-retro-been- there-done-that beater gun. I was trying to stay under 200 for the barrel. Also. Palmetto has been sold out of 20" barrels for a while now.

Fair enough! If I find one in my travels will let you know. I have to start paying less for gun stuff as well. Its getting in the way of my boating habit.

Do you want a 20" rifle style barrel or a true 20" M16A2 profile barrel?

There is a big difference.

20" AR15 1X9 "Heavy Profile" barrels are pretty common and can be had for under $200 if you find one in stock - Midway, DPMS, RRA and numerous other vendors.

M16A2 profile barrels are a different matter. I think the only one currently even cataloging them is Model 1 sales. Don't know about the lead time but they are about $250.

Even before the Obanic, a real deal used A2 bbl was $200.

I'm just waiting it out until PSA lists them again.

Check del ton, the have a2 profile barrels with 1x9 twist as well as hbar 20"

bcm sells the m16a4 upper for 450 minus bolt carrier group, they are instock often
