Welcome from Carroll County! Haven't gone down the reloading rabbit hole yet - maybe consider next year - just finished building my first AR, so wondering if reloading .223 / 5.56 would be good enough savings. Built the gun for precision, so dialing in a good round would be an advantage.

I don't think the cost savings justify the investment, even for larger rounds, unless you're shooting a hell of a lot, especially when you consider the time requirements. The accuracy improvements on the other hand have been very noticeable, though that depends on the particular rifle.

Not sure where you expect a 'Z'.
When I was making my account I asked my roommate what name to use and 'BigMac' was what he gave me. I've since verified with him that I spelled it correctly
