Home defense classes

I would like to take a home defense class, if such a thing exists. Training in shotgun and pistol would be the interest. I have had weapons training in the military and am familiar with handling weapons, but never had any formal training such as CCW or home defense. What would be a good course or can anyone recommend something in this area?

[ASTC]

The Md. Small Arms Range sponsors a Home/Personal Defense class about once a month. Participants fire both a .38 and 9mmm pistol. Info/Reservations: 301/599-0800.
