What do you think they're going to go out of their way to "teach" in schools?

I plan to keep buying like nothing is going on. And my kids will buy or receive my weapons, if something happens to me. It is our jobs as parents to educate our kids. I was taught the school of hard knocks on weapons, to respect them and use them only if necessary/for practice. My kids have learned the same.
