In light of recent events, and the current demand. I was thinking of selling my backup AR-15 for service rifle competition. I would like some opinions as to a fair price if I decide to put it in the classified section.

    Thanks,
    Rob.

It is specifically built for Service Rifle competition also known as a National Match configuration with the following specs:
Fulton Arms Lower (low serial #0007XX)
    A2 Stock
    Bushmaster adjustable 2-Stage trigger
Compass Lake Upper (A2 w/ integral carry handle)
    Hooded match rear sight
20" Stainless Steel bull barrel w/ target crown
No flash hider or bayonet lug
Free float tube (Front sling mount is attached to the Free float tube, not the barrel)
    Adjustable front sight
Lead weight in the butt stock for balance.
    2 20rd mags
    Cheap soft case

    Gun is sub-moa accurate.

Note: I am not sure of the round count. I bought the lower used on gunbroker a few years back and the Upper was bought used as well. Both are in excellent working condition.

501 :) and I'll even clean it myself!

If you do end up selling I may be interested as I have been trying to build a service rifle myself!

I'd say it is worth about as much as you can get for it and not a penny more. Happy Capitalism!

I'd rather give the community here a chance to by this gun for a reasonable price then go through the hassle of selling on gunbroker.

Last summer, I would have expected to ask about $1200 for this gun. Is putting it in the classified at $1500 an insult?

    Sounds fair, for current prices.

I hope it sells quick, for your sake. I think I'm seeing prices come down a little.

The panic buying is definitely over. Things are definitely still going for over true value, but it's not flinging off the shelves like it was a month ago. You can still make a few bucks of the build, IMO, but you're not going to double your investment.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. If you are looking to make top dollar, put it on GunBroker at $1199 and let the market determine what it's worth.

Most of us in MD have already blown our tax refunds. ;)
