Gun show this weekend at the Howard County fairgrounds, come on out and see us! SCSG will have a bunch of great deals on firearms and ammo at the show!

    Juuuuust over the line
As noted in the other thread:

Yes, and they could probably use some help.

MSI will be there. This is (I hope!) the last double booked weekend, Chantilly is also this weekend. We're stretched thin, but we will be doing both.

    Chantilly is also this weekend
Chantilly has stuff I want but is an hour each way. The MDS meetup in Westminster sounds like fun but it's 45 minutes to get there. The HoCo gun show is only 20 minutes each way but won't have the standard capacity mags.

This is a tough decision as I can only spare 3-4 hours away from home today. I just hate driving to Chantilly in a hurry knowing that I might be in line for 45 minutes or so.

    Where they send me.
Went to Chantilly years ago. Loooooooong line in cold drizzling rain in Feb. Guy walking down the line from the promoter yelling at people to have correct change. How the hell is one to "create" correct change while standing in line? Why wasn't he making change if that was what they wanted? Yelling at people doesn't make $$ appear.

    Left and haven't been back.

Yes, there are gains there but not worth it to me.

May try it tomorrow, cutting grass and honey do’s today. :(

Only way I do Chantilly now is if I have need and time to swing by Cabela’s too. Kill two birds…

I have not seen the nut lady in a while
Walked the show and renewed MSI
Walked around the free gem show which was one day only and mostly natural stones and smoothened stones.

Pretty much the typical HoCo show.

Another (typical) Maryland gun show. Went to get something for a friend or I wouldn't have gone. Judging attendance by the number of cars was foolish since there were 2 other shows/auctions happening. Around 1 pm ish there were more vendor personnel than customers.
Looking for 1911 mags uncovered 2 vendors and 1 of those had only a single mag. Prices were ^^^
While York and Gettysburg are returning to their levels of a few years, HoCo seems to be getting worse IMHO
