I recently purchased an HQ CCW vest from Sportsman Guide.

    Pros.
    Cost is reasonable
    Well made heavy material.
Lots of storage for mags and shells inside the vest.
    Lots of general storage too.
6 zipper compartments outside and 2 inside zippers well made.
Top pocked in fromt fits a cell phone nicely.
    Adjustible waist straps.
I wore it for 8 hourd while hiking in the woods and it was comfortable.
CCW pockets both on the right side and left side inside the vests.
Usef a K40 and CM 40 in both right and left pockets for wear testing no printing.

    Cons.
I switched out the K40 and CM 40 for a full frame 1911 45 APC. No printing however, the full frame felt heavy on the shoulder and unballanced not as comfortable as it should be.

Over all HQ makes a great rig for small framed guns if yoy want use a large frame gun I recomend a shoulder rig. I tried a shoulder rig using my BFR .500 S&W magnum. The vest hid it very well with no printing.

How's the front zipper? Is it metal or plastic? There seem to be some complaints about it separating.
