HQL Process update

Alright...so I logged on to the Maryland State Police website and I now have an active HQL license as of 2/26. I still haven't received my card in the mail. Hopefully any day now!

I applied on Tuesday 3/4. Here's where I stand:

I received a letter from CJIS stating that a request had be completed today.

BTW...I came across your youtube video on your modified XDM 9 the other day. Looks sweet. I was looking up XDM and XDS stuff on youtube. Didn't know you were on this forum.

you seem to be moving ahead faster then me ty. I applied 3-1 (Saturday) and by 3-4 everything but cjis and jis have been done. I received the same letter yesterday but no change today for me either

I saw some questions as to whether proof of an existing regulated firearm needed to be uploaded.

FYI- make/model/serial etc was all I needed for the training exemption.

Yes. They must have dropped it in the mail that day.

I applied and printed on 2-27. Within 2 days I had the letter pertaining to Cjis in the mail as well. Oddly that is the only thing still showing incomplete on my app page. Confident it is just an update thing on their end and am watching the mail for my card to come. Call me optimistic? Just glad things seem to be moving pretty quickly.

Damn that was REALLY fast Nutter--congrats! I still haven't received mine. It shows on the site that I have an active HQL number and it's been active since 2/26 but still no card. I'm really hoping I have it today.

I was led to believe that they were not issuing #'s on your app page , but , I am showing active as of 3/7 with a # of 37xx . Hope that means they have already mailed the card. Time will tell.
