So just out of curiosity I decided to check my HQL status and instead of seeing the little yellow hyperlink to the checklist .... to what do my eyes see??

Boom, Baby! Active officially today and certified today.

From start to finish, I was looking at 23 days once I had my application in the system and paid for.

Figure another 7 days for mail and perhaps I'll have it by next Monday or Tuesday.

I got my number this afternoon, it's in the 3500-3550 range.

You put your application in on Feb 21 and got your yesterday. I put mine in on Feb 19th and I am still "pending". HHMM. I think if I am not active by tomorrow I will have to send an e-mail asking the status.

Don't feel too bad about it. I submitted mine on Feb 12th and didn't get the approval until March 6th. Of course I'm still waiting on the actual license to get here.

I went active today, this afternoon when I checked. I applied Feb 19th, so looking at 17 days. Now just wonder how long it will take to get to me. Probably another week. Then maybe I will have the priviledge to exercise my 2nd Amendment right.

Nope, not then. That's the funny part. All this effort, and you still have to wait an extra week while they do another check!
