You loaded 20 rounds each from min to max @ .10 increments......you the man!

How are you metering the powder? How does the stuff flow?

Yeah... The loading data is a little far and between. So I figure would start low end and go up to max .10 at a time, with 20 rounds each, stick with the standard OAL, the only variable would be the charge.I may not shoot all 20 rounds of each.I ran it through a Redding BR30 powder measure just check throw to throw and it's not that bad, also a RCBS Uniflow with good results.

BR30 set to 21.0g895.020 throws ranged from 20.9-21.1 with even consistent motion actually less than that. But for this I weight every charge and used WCC cases only. What's funny I posted in here on another post about using my Rock Chucker press, this is what I used to load these. I'm hoping that I can go and shoot these this weekend. I will first try to go to a range, if busy will have to go to friends place where I have the time to test them out. I will focus on 5.56mm first then work up some in 7.62mm, don't get me wrong I will be shooting the M1A this weekend also.

Could of got more a friend picked it up for me

I have attached some places that talk about it

this is what was posted pic of it,from another site (looks like H322 or H335)

http://www.biggamehunt.net/sections...ucts/IMR-8208-XBR-Powder-Review-03051012.html <-- they have the pic

http://www.longrangehunting.com/articles/imr-8208-xbr-review-1.php <-- talks about the old powder 8208

If I can get some more, I will buy the case and if I see it some where I will post here for sure, I have my eyes, ears open
and will talk to my friend, should be home this weekend.

Handloader Magizine did a write up on it in last months issue. They gave it good reviews. Where did you find it, I have been looking but no luck yet.

IMR 8208 XBR IS NOT the old 8208M surplus powder.

Back in the 80's, a major lot (5000lbs) was repackaged by Thunderbird cartridge company and labeled T-32. Yet another was repackaged and labeled simply 8208.

IMR 8208 XBR is manufactured by Australian Defense Industries (ADI).
