Probably. Just because it is such an obscure pile of parts nobody has ever heard of it. It looks like a pile of leftover Mac 11 and AR parts in 5.7 which is also obscure and hard to get. Probably a decent package though.

How could I find out if this is requires 7 day wait or is a simple transaction like most long gun transactions?
I am sure some FFL's would insist it's regulated even though it's not on any list. You would have to check and find one willing to follow the law instead of paper em all. Check first before you transfer or you might be unpleasantly surprised.

an argument could be made that an ar57 isn't regulated. Freestate wouldn't transfer mine non-regulated though, so it really depends on the FFL.
What was their reason?

because it had a standard ar lower... tried to convince Mark otherwise, but he said they would only transfer it regulated. Guess I should have talked to them before hand and transferred it somewhere else that would have allowed it
