My brother went from a vedder light tuck to the Crossbreed super tuck, and he finds the super tuck to be much more comfortable. I'm personally running a light tuck for now, but may end up going with a hybrid at some point.
No thumb break. Straight retention. I need the opening for my RDS. I might have to do a little trimming also, but I don't think much. With the thumb break? I cut the outward part off as soon as I took it out of the packing. I didn't want a new muscle memory learning curve. It's my favorite and I'm doomed to keep OWB. I really like how high it rides. Comfortable and I forget it's there. Since then I ordered a Crossbreed with leather backing and kydex holster and it's close to as good as the DeSantis. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Looks like pretty standard NARC handiwork.Just do this.
Get some cardboard or this shipping bag wrap.
Get some cloth tape. I have GOON Tape.
Cut out piece of wrap in the dimension you desire.
Wrap that piece with tape.
Tape that piece to the holster.
Easy fix. I've been doing this for many years.
No worries.Know what? I was wrong. I must have looked at hundreds of these things...
From their site:
My apologies.
- The mid-ride shirt guard is carefully profiled to allow for an unencumbered high thumb grip.

You should have seen the crap we were doing early 2002 when we were starting to get into full swing with work. There weren't many kydex holster makers out there then. Necessity is the Mother of invention.Looks like pretty standard NARC handiwork.
I just ordered a DeSantis mini slider owb. Should have it by Tuesday.
I like it a lot. I'm wondering, if I had gotten the thumb break model, I could have cut most of that away and be left with a full length sweat guard. I might try that down the road or maybe fashion one on this holster. Otherwise fit and finish are excellent. You can find them under $60. I got mine from Amazon. It's Wednesday. Did it come? How do you like it?
The DeSantis is still my most comfortable holster. I’m not that fond of the cant, so I’m trying a Don Hume slide that came today and if the pictures load up the cant difference should be clear. I can grip the gun better with the slide holster. But if I count the times I’ve needed a gun in the last 72 years, I think I can go with comfort over better draw. The other thing is, the Don Hume with the gun in it, will fit in my car’s gun safe, so it has its place in my collection.I like it a lot. If you carry a weapon for any length of time, you will eventually have a box of holsters. Even though I am retired, I still find that what holster I choose to wear has to do with the clothes I will be wearing. One sized does not do it for all occasions.
I see what you're saying, but I need that cant for better concealment.
I bet the holster guys are making a killing since Bruen, Lol.
The wait/ship times for manufacturers that do just in time manufacturing (Vedder, etc.) would back that up.I see what you're saying, but I need that cant for better concealment.

No adjustable tension eh?I've never cared for plastic IWB's, mostly because the ends seemed wide and squared off. This is Houdini Holster, the company that's always at the Chantilly show. Very easy to slide on!

It's very tight when in your belt. The people at the show demonstrated how to loosen it up a little with a heat gun.No adjustable tension eh?
I like that those are available with a "fat gaurd", could be my next if I keep swellingI carried my VP9 in a Tulster IWB for a few hours today. With a forward cant, at 2 O’Clock it was very comfy in and out of the car. Disappeared under a sweatshirt.
