A while back, there was a meet-and-greet at Jailbreak Brewing Company in North Laurel. Who took the lead on planning that? I'd like to see another one take place and I'm willing to help make it happen.

The last one was an all-day "drop-in", which meant you might not meet very many MDS folks unless you were there 6 hours.

Next time, it would be great to define a 2-hour window to hang out and meet people in person.

Been wanting to try this brewery.. how about a day all the men will be scrambling around like chickens with their heads cut off like DEC 18/19.

Has this gathering at Jailbreak occurred more than once in the past? I only remember hearing about it once, I think it was a Tuesday evening, I remember it raining very hard.

I think it is an annual thing.

I met a few members. Most were scared off by the big "cover charge" which was misleading because it didn't apply to us. That was for the brewery tour etc. Had a good time.

It's an irregular event, attended by odd people, with erratic views, held at the whim of the organizer

I was at the first, more formalized event, and it was a good thing. The thunderstorm was pretty impressive.

Had to miss the second, but I don't recall why.

Oh, yeah... always good folk.

Jailbreak is boring. I think Minuteman and I know a same person who has restaurant space, meaning like a separate bar,table and booth area that could be used and overflow could go right out into the "real"bar and restaurant.

Not sure he has those, but the food is most excellent! I ran the idea of a prix fixe including a couple drinks a few weeks back and then we got sidetracked.
