I'm looking at something to hold me over till I fulfill the prerequisites to be eligible for some of USG jobs-talked to some dept. of state, secret service, and a handful of other agencies/contractors.

Just need some info on who/what/where to apply-nothing crazy, just something to hold me over and keep my busy.

Things I can do/have experience in
Know my way around a computer pretty good-what ever I don't know, I can learn. Pretty much taught myself at this point.
Also can build decent computer rigs.

Am in the ARNG- MOS is Infantry
    *Woodcutting/tree removal(nothing on paper)
    *Some plumbing(nothing on paper)
    *Some electrical (nothing on paper)
*Worked with wood-help build a deck, shed and done hardwood floors with tongue and groove also put in a pool(nothing on paper)
    *Landscaping(nothing on paper)
*Know basic things about cars and pretty much figure it out and can pick up knowledge pretty fast.
    Love hard work :)
    Nothing I cannot learn

I'm still searching around myself, but would like to have some help.
Just need some ideas where to apply right now-preferably in the security.

And same like Novus-I don't have a car (lost it couple of years ago) and can get a ride from a family member/use public trans.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks GNLaFrance-yesterday I checked out that website you linked to Novus, it was down at that time.

well, I was thinking of joining a website franchise with a friend-still leary of it but apparently she and her husband makes good money-they have been doing it over 3-5 years (husband been doing it longer) but rather get an actual job so I can have something on record.
And yes Novus would be a great partner-never met him though.
    Just read his posts.

I was thinking i could work as undercover or some form of HUMNIT for one of those alphabet soup agencies and can use some of my skills/knowledge as cover.
