Just got my C&R license today (not sure if that's a good thing...) and wanted to know if there are any preferred online vendors that you folks frequent.

I saw the list on the sticky but wanted to get people's opinions on their preferred vendor for a newbie like me.

I'm sure that you will get pros and cons for all vendors.
SOG, Classic Arms, J&G sales have done good by me.
Midwayusa and Brownells for my parts.

There are plenty of potential good sources: SOG, Classic, J&G, Century, Samco, the CMP, AIM, Gun Broker, Auction Arms and etc. etc. Just depends on what you want and are looking for.

This will get you started on your way to poverty and despair. Just keep telling your wife that they are "investments" ... they actually are! The vendors toward the top of the lists tend to be the ones that I check regularly. Other than that, they aren't in any real order of favorites.

Thanks, Dave. I just started compiling them over the Summer, when a friend asked about good sources. I still add something to it about once a week now.

There's a very good-looking list on a sticky here, but it appears to be a couple of years old. I don't know if anyone's checked to see that all of the places are still in business, or not.
