They got some cool stuff to look at but everything is super expensive and Ive seen a few guns that like twice the price that you can find em at The Gun Shop or other places nearby.
There is one older guy there that used to get on my nerves and wears goofy tactical vests and always mentions that he can do stuff and you cant because he is law enforcement, and I honestly dont know if he is or not. This guy tried to explain to me that you couldnt even carry a magazine with ammunition in it because it displays intent to carry a loaded weapon(unless your law enforcement like him). There was an Uzi behind the counter and he explained to some guy that he couldnt own one with a short barrel but he himself could have one because he was law enforcement.[/QUOTE]
He told me he was a contracted U.S. MArshall working in a unit in the city. Blah blah blah bragged about it the entire time and then proceeded to try and sell me a Glock 23 for 675 dollars. I laughed and walked out. Guy was a squirrel if ive ever seen one.
Its so funny that you knew exactly who I was talking about, I think that guy has a screw loose for sure. I have seen him at a gun show but I cant place which one it was, somehow I doubt he is a LEO but who knows he very well could be.
I've also been to "Just Guns" and Dawg the Bounty Hunter behind the counter was a complete ass. I noticed a C&R (old) 1911 behind the glass, at which point I said "Sweet, I just got one mailed to my house", I shouldn't of said that... he went on to give me a lecture on how I was breaking the law, and that C&R pistols are not legal to transfer within MD. I explained to him that I ordered it from Ohio and thus the transfer was an out of state import and does not fall under those restrictions. After all that he became really upset and I left shortly after... obviously. I thought the wacko was going to call the cops on me. It just goes to show you that even gun store owners are sometimes only privy to the laws they care about. That's what makes this an excellent website and the best source for info concerning restrictions\laws within MD. The Gun Shop is a nice place, with good people. Just Stay Away from Just Guns.
Shannon is Rob's wife, correct? As I have posted before, nice people. The issue for me with that shop is that my schedule and their schedule do not usually work out.
I have bought from Just Guns before, but not recently. Gun Connection is easier for me.
Both of these shops could benefit if they joined this site and became IP's.
Secret Squirrel guy working there, but he is harmless. Just turn your BS filter on. Not the first place I would shop, but no problems with it really.
I second that... plus I hate any place that makes you feel like it's a privilege just to be in their store, and that somehow you meet THEIR standards to buy stuff from them. Yes, it's a gun shop with serious merchandise, but in the end customer service is still key, like any other business.

I just completed the NRA Basic Pistol class and he was the instructor.
