My first handgun was a police trade-in G22 from Lou. It's still one of my best handguns.

I went by Lou's and intended to buy another g21 but ended up leaving with a G22c. There is one left.

Just a thought, but that would be two round trip drives out to see Lou. If he's got one, I'd ask Mid-County in Preston what his transfer fee would be. I don't know if Corsica Coatings in Centerville is still doing transfers, been a while since I heard from them on the board.

$40 transfer, that includes the $10 to MSP. Even with shipping it might be cheaper than gas. Lou is a good guy, he wouldn't screw you by shipping a junk gun.

The last one is very clean. Has very little holster wear. The 21s are nice too. If you don't like the 22, check out the 21.

Thanks joppaj. I did not even think about doing a transfer. Mike at MCG is definitely awesome too. I went to him first on my search for a G22. I still might drive up there anyway though. I will be halfway there tomorrow visiting my girlfriend.

Can't speak of the 22, but the 21 that I got from Lou was great. Minor holster wear on the slide. It shoots very accurate and has been functionally great.

I got the G22C. Thank you bys8 for helping me locate this gun. It was so clean. I could barely tell it was used. Now the wait begins!
