Shotshell loading press, probably 8 or 4 gauge.

Device for removing the husk around Black Walnuts. If you have ever tried de-husking a large quantity of Black Walnuts you know it is a pain but forcing them through a hole is one method that works.

I can see something like this for the job of husking black walnuts but it still seems overly large for the job to me. That said I knew a guy who worked for a local grain elevator weighing in and out trucks of corn, beans, wheat and etc. who would lay out black walnuts for the trucks to run over before they drove onto the scale and then go get the shelled walnuts when they left. So it may be big enough to do the job.

Don't know how I got two of the quotes above, must have pushed something too hard...

I don't understand why folks so close to PA don't recognize this!?!

It's obviously an Amish circumcision device!

Of course, vids of usage could result in a quick ban hammer.

I still like this idea. The corn to be used as mash.
But, no place for all those kernels to go, unless something fundamental is missing. And if you look at most corn strippers, the holes have nails pointing into them or some other burr type device, and there's twisting action, with the device to be placed over a bowl, or with a chute on it or such. Black Walnut thing still seems most probable to me.
