    I thought I was the only one that did this , lol.

    Someone left me a few boxes of "lawman" ammo a few months that had really nice white plastic cartridge holders. I use those to hold my 45ACP rounds face down, to know they need crimped before going into storage boxes.

    oh there's a few more of us out here that do it too.

    I've used the RCBS and the MTM caseblocks for loading, until I started loading .45-70.
    Neither worked. Holes not big enough.

    I got a piece of MDF (medium density fiberboard) scrap from the workshop, glued it to a piece of plywood, and marked off a grid, and using a 5/8" "Forstner bit" drilled the flat-bottomed holes.

    Cost: FREE!!!!
    Works great!

    I like the plastic 50 round Frankford Arsenal blocks. A couple of years ago I needed two loading blocks for 40 S&W and nobody had the Frankford Arsenal ones so I bought a wooden block from Sinclair. Very nice but a little more pricey that the plastic blocks.
