Log Splitter Shooting Event June 1...

This is a new shooting event from FreeState Gun Range. This is a two person team event. A 1 inch by 2 inch by 18 inch piece of wood is hung from the trolley. Shooter can load six and have two six round backup mags/clips /speedloaders. Shooting distance is five yards. The shooting team must shoot until the wood is split in two or they run out of ammo. The fastest log splitters get the cash.

$10 Buy-in. Winner splits the cash with the range. Go find a teammate and come shoot on June 1, Wednesday.

Maybe the limit is 10 teams per match and we can get multiple matches in between 6PM and 10PM. Your thoughts and suggestions would be helpful.

Randy and I shot at the stick today, .45 ball, .40 ball, .40 hollow point and .22 hollow point. I would have to say that the hollow points have no significant advantage over the ball ammo. Its more about the accuracy of the shots.
