Maybe a silly question. Maybe it's been covered 99 times already. Does the P365X Macro fit into the same holster as the basic P365?

    Depends on the holster.
    Leather - maybe.
    Kydex - no.

The front rail on the Macro is a Picatinny/M1913 while the P365, P365X and XL use Sig's proprietary rail profile. You may be able to soften a Kydex and get it to go in, but unmodified...no.

No. The Picatinny rail interferes. I got an X Macro frame and adapted it to fit my P365 slide and holsters. I had to take off an inch in front, then take off the picatinny rail and shape the front of the frame. The first pic is after taking an inch off the front. Second is after taking off the rail.

The good news about modifying a P320 or P365 grip is that you're probably only about $60 (or less) from fixing your problem. Screw up a Glock grip and it's a much more expensive and annoying mistake.

This. The grip modules are cheap. The slide mounts to the trigger module, which is still very secure in the grip module.

I am looking at a Strike Industries slide for mine but, since I have smaller hands, I don't need to extend the grip past what a 12 rd (13 with a magguts spring) gives me.
