Would like to get some opinions on which ammo I should get for a .38/.357 revolver, as far as, LRN vs FMJ vs FMC. What are differences and does one dirty the barrel more then the other? This will be used almost exclusively at an indoor range shooting targets. Thanks so much for the help.

I almost always use FMJ ammo in both my 38/357 revolver and carbine. Lead round nose may be cheaper but causes leading of the barrel and is filthy to handle. If you order ammo online you can get bulk FMJ .38 special for about 30 cents a round.

I agree with Ganegrei. Unless I'm shooting handloads, I prefer FMJ through my revolvers.
