I purchased a new Remington 700 SPS and I want
To put a boyds Lament Stock that has aluminum pillar blocks and possibly to glass bed the rifle to float the barrel. I also want them to install a muzzle
    Break.

This is a new old stock 700 in 300 win mag sporter barrel for medium to long range hunting. (500 yard is my own limit). I will be reloading my own rounds so hoping for 1 inch groups Or less. This will be for a Fall 2023 Elk/Mule combo. So I do have some time.
What shops would you recommend or exclude.

Any and all comments, advise is welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

Would be a haul for you but ed Harren of harrens custom rifles in ijamsville gets an unreserved recommendation. He does excellent work with 700s, among other actions. Benchrest guy mainly but his varmint and hunting rifles tend to shoot like benchrest rifles without the fancy paint jobs.

Local is nice, but long wait.

I have used Short Action Custom in Ohio and Long Rifles Inc in Sturgis, SD. Both were 1 week door to door. You can ship them UPS or FedEx Ground or higher.
