M1 Carbine

I Just bought a M1 Carbine from a local pawn shop. Markings looks good, someone painted the stock camo though, I'll have to replace that. Pics coming

Try stripping the stock before replacing it.
If you can strip the paint and restore the wood it may be cool if that is indeed the original stock.
