Over an hour and they are not sold out. I wonder if they are imported?
Description says they are, but not import marked. Seems to have an honest description and they sound pretty good. Too bad no rockolas.

When did carbines get so expensive? Last couple of gun shows I've noticed the prices are through the roof. Some are more expensive than Garands.

    Strange. Under the description:

"Rifles have and are being sold under their original serial numbers and have not been importer re-marked."

Probably marked on the barrel, but still a stain for collectors especially on a US issued rifle. They don’t have to serialize an already serialized firearm to import mark.

I wonder if that means they didn't add a new serial number, but have an importer mark somewhere.

That would be my interpretation Arcamm. Often reworked relics are electro-stenciled with different S/N's by importers. My bet is they have importer marks somewhere. Worth verifying before buying.

Yeah, M1 Carbines have sure gone up in price (like everything else). Glad I got mine many years ago for a small fraction of the price tag on these...

To me it dont stain them to much. For me it adds history as it shows that rifle spent time in other countries after the war serving another nation for a few years.

That is like gun show prices. Or am I wrong? I'd rather look at one and pick it up after seeing it.

The video says these came back to the US from Africa, so I’m guessing these might be RTI from Ethiopia, which would make me nervous about buying sight unseen based on other reviews of the condition of RTI finds.

Unless a miracle happens and the Korean stockpile is ever allowed to be imported back into the US the African ones seem to be the end of the line for surplus.
