Prices on the mil surp ones are why I got an AutoOrdnance new/ used one. I think I paid $775 for it. I was looking for a shooter, not a collector item that sits in the safe.

    How do you like it?

I bought an AO Carbine awhile back but haven't had a chance to shoot it.

I shot 15 rounds through it a couple weeks ago. No problems. At 50 yds, about a 2 1/2 to 3” group. Nothing like my Win 52 for accuracy, but never expected that. With the cost of ammo, I don’t think I’ll be shooting a lot through it, but if TSITF, I at least have a descent semi auto with some punch.

That’s not bad, I believe they’re about 3-5 MOA as built, good enough for combat. Not much power in that round though as a rifle round, better than most handguns, but less than half of what M2 ball runs.

I wish I had gotten a M1 carbine years ago when they were cheaper, and ammo more plentiful. I DO kinda want one of those Chiappa M1 9mm carbines, they look pretty cool
