I am trying to expand my stock of floater decoys and have a doz or so GHG floater full size Mallards that used to have a removable keel. Dont know where they went but found out that Avery does not sell the keels any longer.

Does anyone have any dekes that take on water and have the removable keel? Have you rigged floaters with out a Keel? If so what did you do.

I will buy some new decoys but these doz decoys would be good to add to the spread and I dont want to throw them away.

What are your go to floater mallard decoy brands?

I hate plastic decoys, they don't ride right in any chop or current. I am pretty much using all cork or foamers like Herters and Restle now. Of the plastic fantastic, probably the best is G&H though
