That's a beaut. Looks like a little Nepali writing on the stock...part of the IMA hoard?

I have always wanted one but was fearful of all the fakes that were reportedly out there and have yet to research how to identify genuine ones.

    Where did he get it?

Very nice. I was just looking at the book Mr. Single Shot's gunsmithing ideas. There is a chapter on cutting up and modifying Martinis. I am certainly not advocating doing that to this one. In fact, the idea that there was a never ending supply of old guns led to so many being bubbaed and otherwise altered that it seems fairly unusual to find an unaltered one these days.
