I am with you it sure seems like they want them now, it is scary. I make dam sure my guns stay in my safe and do not get into the wrong hands, those would be anyone but myself wither that is criminal or gov't official who wants to take them fro me.

I'm with you. SB281 forced me to ask, "Why in the world do they want MINE? And why do they INSIST?" I'm not big on tin foil hat conspiracies but living in a City rife with corrupt officials, cops, prison guards, etc, I've gotta go very defensive against an effort to take away my protection in my own home.

    My prediction:

    1. Most gun shops go out of business/ consolidate after October 1st due to lack of sales. People are buying now to get what they want.

No, most all of us sell nationwide now anyway. Though Maryland sales are important, the lag won't put many out of business.

    2. The remaining gun shops jack up prices on guns and ammo.

No, as inventory rises due to slower sales, supply and demand will kick in and many prices will drop.

    3. People reduce buying guns and ammo in state.

    Agreed.

    4. MD Gun shops reduce allowing transfers of guns from out of state

    Some will/have, many won't.

    5. More people get FFL 03 licenses to buy C&R guns only. They will also make their guns.

    Agreed.

    6. More dealers go out of business.

Again, no see above. OK, some may go away, but not as many as you think.

    7. The remaining gun shops jack up prices again.

    No, see above.

    8. More guns will be bought and sold on the black market as soon as the prices greatly exceed the prices of guns sold by neighbor states and when it is too hard to buy a gun legally.

    Agreed.

    9. A law will be passed making buying or selling a gun off the street or in a gun shop even more illegal than it is now.

They should, as it would actually address a real issue, thus fat chance in this state.

    10. More gun will be illegal and will be confiscated, until the final law is passed to confiscate/ buy all remaining guns.

Eh, maybe down the road, but not very soon IMO.

    11. Only the military, and police will be allowed guns legally in MD.

The Liberal side's dream law, agreed.

    12. Playstation games like Call of Duty will be banned.

Nah, that is how they train their future soldiers these days.

    13. All men will be forced to wear dresses as a punishment for breaking the law because prisons are too crowded.

Could the dress wearing be voluntary as well?

    See Above.
