If MCPS hasn't already jumped the shark a few times, here's another new twist to buy a football ticket. There are more boxes, and all must be checked to buy. #2 goes against my GG Liddy philosophy studies, lol

    Context: Grades: 09, 10, 11, 12
Subject: Important information Regarding Football Game on 10/27/23
    Good afternoon Wildcat Families -
As we prepare for Friday night's final regular season football game at Walter Johnson, I wanted to share important information about safety and security provisions for the game. Out of an abundance of caution, we have been closely working with the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) and MCPS school security who have committed to enhanced measures for the safety of this event, including the police investigating a threat from outside our school system that was deemed non-credible. We realize that our community has dealt with a lot this week and we want to assure you that we continue to address safety as our first priority.
In an effort to continue to ensure a safe and positive game experience in light of concerns about safety from our communities, we will be implementing the following safeguards for the game:
    • We will be operating in Tier 2 of the MCPS Fall Athletics Safety Plan. Only students from Walter Johnson and Winston Churchill High school will be allowed to attend the game. We are also further reducing the total capacity for tickets to under 60% in order to help maintain a safe crowd and spectator experience. So make sure you buy your ticket now!
    • Tickets will only be available through GoFan. You can purchase those tickets HERE No cash sales.
    • Students will need to present their WJHS School ID or show their StudentVue Schedule at the check in table before going into the game.
    • WJ fans will enter the stadium entrance at the Ticket Booth near the tennis courts.
    • Winston Churchill students and fans will enter and exit through the lower entrance. Winston Churchill fans will have access to portable lavatories and a satellite concession stand and will NOT be allowed to access the concourse and concession stand in the Walter Johnson stadium area.
    • Middle School students must be accompanied by at least one adult, and sit with the adult during the entire game.
    • There will be no outside food and drink allowed and students cannot bring in backpacks.
    • WJHS and WCHS security and administrators will be working closely to monitor behaviors throughout the game and during the entrance and exit from the facility and we ask for everyone's help in making it a safe environment.
    • Any student trying to enter the game by jumping the fence will not be allowed into the game or future games at Walter Johnson High School.
SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR PARENTS: We are asking all of our parents to please help us to ensure the safety of our students:
    1. Please discuss with your student their Post-Game Plans and make sure that they are going to a safe and well-supervised location that you trust. I do not recommend Georgetown Square as a post-game gathering location.
    2. If you are picking up your student after the game - know that the game will be over by 9 pm, please make sure you pick them up ASAP to avoid unsupervised time waiting for rides, or walking in the local area post-game. ALL WJ students will be picked up in the front of the school in the bus loop or flag loop areas.
If at any time during the event you have concerns, please inform one of the event staff and security so that we can assist.
Together we will have a fun, spirited, and safe event.
    See you all Friday!

...sounds like it's going to be the Jets versus the Sharks.

Two of the top High Schools in County academically..
Bringing porta pottys for Churchill side of field, they can't go to main rest rooms or concessions.. Just really strange.

Screenshots of Facebook posts Khan-Williams allegedly made were obtained by The Daily Wire.

"Debunked!! No music festival attack. Babies were not burned. Women were not violated," she reportedly wrote in one post.

The Daily Wire reports that in another post, Kahn-Williams suggested that Hamas did not start the war, saying, "They were just the perfect vehicle for Zionists to continue its apartheid."

In a letter to Tilden Middle School families Monday, principal Sapna Hopkins said the posts have "undermined" the values of the school including "respect and belonging."

How about PARENTS take ACCOUNTABILITY for their spawn and stop making the schools and resources officers the accountable parents.
