Nothing is “ safe to say “ In this state
I’d talk to your FFL 1st and see if they will transfer.
    Yes it’s a PITA. It’s also smart.
List is “ suggestion “ only.
Intentionally confusing. Designed to deny as a make work project.
Hope this helps you get your new toy home.

I always tell my customers that the list isn’t definitive. It’s far from everything that is banned or everything that isn’t. It is a starting point and the paragraph of things that can cause a firearm to be banned is very important to understand. As stated check with your ffl before buying.

It depends. What is the gun that you want to buy?
One of PSA'a AR15/10's only listed non banned specifically are chambered in 6.5. However PSA has a lot of models not specifically listed as banned. Leads me to believe and I think the reason the list is no necessarily complete is the manufacturere has not specifically submitted to the review board their arms for review by MD.

There is NO board for any manufacturer to submit a rifle/shotgun to. MSP makes it up they go along, "they know it when they se it".

As stated before the list has absolutely no force of law, unlike the handgun roster which was created via state statute.

Since is has no force of law, it can be ignored?

If an FFL will sell it to ya. Or do the transfer. It’s a shared liability gets sticky depending on what ya want.
    FFLs rules. It’s their license.

AR10s are not banned in this state.

That "Banned" list makes no sense to me at all. Take the S&W M&P 15, for example. According to the site, it's banned (but a certain model isn't banned). I went into a shop about a month a go and purchased a custom AR-15 that was identical....literally identical...to the banned M&P 15.

With the exception of the 49 items specifically listed in state statute, all of the other items are the OPINION of MSP. MSP guidance has been, and continues to be, check with your FFL first, if no answer, consult a lawyer, if no answer still, don't ask us, we don't know.

With the exception of the items specified in state statute, all of the rest are there at the opinion of MSP. What sense is there to make? MSP knows it when they see it.

I would suspect what you purchased has “HBAR” stamped on the barrel…
