MD medical cannabis growers and may-issue

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but with the growers about to start growing, and since banks will not deal with them due to fed law, how will they protect their money and product that the state has made legal for medical use? Will MSP issue carry lisc's to them or what? It seems in CO that the state is letting the industry be armed, but not sure about CO's concealed carry law in regards or what happens if the growers/sellers open carry outside of Denver.

They hire private security companies for their properties. Can't say I have a clue in regard to themselves.

Won't MSP be breaking federal law by knowingly issue CCW permits to pot growers? I mean, what do they put down as G&S - carrying doobie to the bank? Maybe important polictian will touch his nose and *puff* instant CCW permit...

I'm sure the same politicians that were paid off to receive the licenses will be only to happy to facilitate a permit.

If the state has tax money at stake in this (and it does) they will have no issue with may-issue.

Still can't get a carry license if you have a restraining order and an ex-boyfriend who has threatened to kill you, but this is important damnit.

MSP Instructors are training armed security guards.
All the ones I have talked to have a condition of employment that they remain drug free and submit to random testing. Positive drug test results in instant termination.

I don't even think that it would be a stretch that employees of the grow operations get permits. What's the difference between medical herb employees and those of say a jewelry or gun store?
