So that is not a Cooper's Hawk...it's a Red Shouldered Hawk. The wing color is how you tell the difference. Adult Cooper's wings stay almost solid in color almost gray like... were as the Red Shouldered wings turn striped kind of like their tails.Caught this fella today waiting to get on the suet. The Cooper's was from a few weeks back.
She looks suspicious.
