Thanks Ed. I'd have a hard time believing you if I hadn't seen deer in my yard this year. Been here 21 years and this summer was the first time I've seen them in my yard.
I grew up on a farm in northern AA county and there were NO deer. Now, they eat in my mom's yard at high noon and I'm buying corn for her to give to them. She likes watching them.

Found this little fella(?) in the security box of a trail camera this afternoon. It is another Grey Treefrog, but is greenish, hence the species name "H. versicolor". The bolt head is 1/2".

Finally saw one. These buggers are FAST! Tried stomping 3 times and it kept flying away. Had to whomp it with my hat.

We are loaded with them. The flat out love Sumacs and one hangs over the neighbors driveway. They drill it so bad the driveway is sticky with sap from the tree. My Sunset maples have spotted leaves from them drilling them. We are loaded with them in Central Washington Co. I hope the birds learn they are desert soon!

Lanternfly was giving me the finger from a target hanger post. Only four yards though.

Been shooting them with homemade shot loads out of a 38 when I can.

Poaching will be yet another consequence of a porous border. I know fishing is already problematic but I foresee other game being impacted as well.

Nice shots! I usually resize anything I post here to 30-40% of the original size before uploading (sometimes less if from the DSLR).
Thank you, I use a DSLR as well and it hurts to think about compressing my photos but I guess if the mods allow it I will use Google Docs for this thread at least I can update it with my highlights of the week till I forget to do it or decide its too many photos.
