Kragaphile
Old Court Rd in Pikesville last Sunday.
I've seen NRP slow roll by, but rarely do they get out of the truck.
Best was NRP came up by boat, 50% of the people fishing grabbed their gear and ran for the parking lot. NRP checked those that stayed, lol.
Why bother? Do they even show up in court, or is it just another form of catch and release?
I was pretty sure I saw something Thu or Fri that was out of place right now, but confirmed it today... Juncos are coming in, about 3 weeks or so early... and ahead of White Throat Sparrows.
Odd, though, that there are still a couple of Osprey hanging about.
I guess I should expedite my departure for Florida!OK, John... Today was White Throats and a crapton of Kinglets.
Something is happening.
Used to love Kinglets. Very tame, you could stand 5 feet away and watch them work. There would be a loose flock of Kinglets, Titmice, Chickadees, Brown Creepers, Nuthatches (mostly Red-Breasted but some White Breasted) and Downy Woodpeckers working their way through the pines and you could just walk with them.OK, John... Today was White Throats and a crapton of Kinglets.
Something is happening.
Now that is an unusual find!
Nice shot of one of my favorite bugs.View attachment 438362 View attachment 438363 View attachment 438364 View attachment 438365
