    The Seek app tells me these are native Slender Yellow Woodsorrel. They're pretty.

    See if you can find the eel. About 2' long I estimate. Northwest Branch a bit down stream of Kemp Mill Rd. Never saw one before. Oh and fireflies are going off in my backyard. I love those critters...

    Went out fishing this morning and the dog was thick! Later it burned off in a cool way(around 10am)

    Yup. Where are you fishing? That sure looks like a place I have been but it's just not clicking.

    Very nice pix.

    We see YRWA year-round, but the full color version is always cool.

    I have to admit, in all these years I've never seen an Ovenbird anywhere but on the ground! I thought I heard one yesterday, but couldn't lock it in.

    I knew they perched high while singing but never got photos of them in a tree and we get Kentucky warblers year-round here, which are cool but they are so hard to see because they are real flighty.
