Has anyone SBR'ed an AR using a KaliKey? (changes the charging handle and bolt carrier key to make it a straight-pull bolt action)
    Application wording suggestions?

I guess I could silver solder flash cans (advertised as not reducing flash signature) onto firearms that only need a few extra inches.
But the really short blow-back 9mms are in a bit of a pickle.

This is the text guidance I was given on this forum, don't recall the source but it worked for me to get an approved less than 29" OAL rimfire SBR, in this case it was a Ruger Charger 22.

    --------------------------
The following statements or something similar, should be annotated in the correct sections on the Form 1, for rimfire SBR's less then 29 inches. There is also character limitations, so use your words carefully and be aware of which boxes can take new-lines on the online form.

    4h. Additional Description:
    <trust name>, <city> <state abbreviation>
22LR RIMFIRE CALIBER CARTRIDGE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH MD LAW. <---new-line

4i. State Why You Intend To Make Firearm.
TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH MD CRIMINAL LAW ARTICLE 4-301.
    ------------------------
I'll make sure I add that exact verbiage. Anyone else SBR a 15-22? Curious as to what you wrote

PCC setups if short enough may have to drop "stocks" and stay "pistols" and end with a Han Solo type blaster setup and look.

Would you add those while doing the firearm info? I added both as separate lines after "All legal purposes". Would I also add that in "electric documents", after the line item page?

I submitted my pre 2013 LBR lower, as a short barrel 9mm. The lower is attached to a .556 rifle, right now. I shouldn’t have a problem, should I? The OAL will be 23”. But again, I’ve owned and had it registered, prior to 2013. ?????

The minute you "make" an SBR your old lower becomes a new gun(SBR). So it's a no-go under 29".

Now if it was already an SBR prior to the ban, you would be GTG.

Pistol braces have been around before 2013 so if you had bought a lower and built it into a pistol then you’re good. If you bought a complete rifle no good.
