So I just relocated to martinsburg on the first. How many other MDS members are in the area?

I'm still discovering the area so what's your favorite shop and place to shoot?

Except they seem like they don't want visitors. Surrounded by a tall fence with screens so you can't see in and armed guards in towers. Looks like a jail from the outside. The only sign is "Plant Entrance"

    Buy they like mail

Seems like it's pretty easy to spot the places that don't want uninvited company.

It's nondescript while being obvious all at the same time.

I'm still in Fredneck, but every now and then I get up to Tannerman's and TangoDown.

Been to tannerman's since I moved, but didn't seem as good as it was before I moved here. Fraizers pawn is good. I traded with them and they were fair. Shep's isn't bad.

Haven't shot anywhere out here. I was thinking about trying peacemaker soon.

I'm near Martinsburg but my typical go to shop for grabbing things and shooting indoors is valley guns. PNTC near inwood is a hell of a shooting facility though.

Im in Hagerstown with a few other MDS members... about 15-20 minutes from Martinsburg. As mentioned above, PNTC is great. I also like Valley Guns in Inwood.

I relocated from Hagerstown earlier this year to a farm near Martinsburg. We shoot (and hunt) on the farm including rifle out to as much as 400+ yards. One shooter took a groundhog at a measured 560 yards last year with 5.56. I joined PNTC last year (still belong to MPC in Frederick) because they have the widest range of facilities and competition in the Mid-Atlantic area. I feel like I am living in the USA again.

Hmm so with a 400+ yard area to shoot would you have a backstop that can handle 50 bmg?

Gotta ask, how are the housing prices out there and how are the schools? Wife and I are looking to bail outta MoCo and MD in general and I always liked the Martinsburg area as I explored it a bit when my dad was in hospice care at the VA out there. Seemed like good people out there for the most part, some hood and some hillbilly types but I'm dealing with the same thing here in Moco but in Spanish lol.

I like it. House prices are lower. My son is only 2 so I can't comment on the schools. I am happy here, but I still work in Maryland for now.
