    We need a collection for MDS to get a new cert and a crypto accelerator so we can force everything over SSL/TLS.

    I already gave, so y'all pony up =).

    one of my customers ponied up around $225 when they had to renew. Not two days later we switched to a new provider and it only cost around $150 IIRC

    I take is as a proud middle finger to the digital cert providers. Another money making racket I wish I would have thought up! Kind of similar to the HQL except the SSL certificates actually do serve a purpose.

    Looks like MDS is using RapidSSL at about $50 per year. That is about 49.99 too much but still much better than most at hundreds per year.
