Midway Orders?

Has anyone ordered anything from Midway on backorder and received it recently? I ordered an AR upper just after Christmas and the estimated ship date was 1/6/13. I have no info from Midway as to a possible new ship date and they are not responding to emails about orders now. I know everything is crazy now and estimates are just that but I was just wondering if anyone else has received anything?

I got some dies and reloading accessories reasonably quick. I have stuff on backorder from them. It shows up when it shows up.

I ordered some AR kits and if you pull up the order online it will show you the new backorder date.. whether these are right or not who knows..

I haven't called them yet, maybe I will take everyone's advice and give them a jingle.

What he said I ordered a ar kit mid Dec with estimated in stock of 1/13/13 and its now mid April as they tell me not to fond of the wait.

They're out of a LOT of stuff, but I've placed several orders in the past two weeks and it's all coming in regularly. A couple of small parts I ordered were out of stock but were sent out yesterday. AR parts, powder, primers, bullets, out out out, many with no anticipated delivery date and no backorder. I haven't seen this since the LAST time BHO was elected.

I ordered a set of items with one which was backordered and it was in stock the next day and shipped (although it wasn't noted as being in-stock online at any point that I know of). Not sure if I was just lucky, they had so many back orders that they weren't able to generate any rotating stock, or if they perhaps hold a few of each product for larger multi-item orders so they can move it all at once given the cost of shipping these days.

I had 2 back ordered 308 Pmags (LR25) for my Colt 901 from mid December. They just arrived this week. Midway was limiting customers to 2 per order. I felt lucky to even get 2 at the regular price of $18.95

That is the nature of backorder. They can only estimate when it will be in stock from their suppliers. You are in line and it gets filled once they have enough stock to fill your order.

I ordered a couple of BCGs in early January knowing that they were backordered with an expected date of January 24th. Received an email from Midway a week later stating that they were changing my order from 2 to 1 (great, maybe I can quickly swap it from one upper to the other....) and now their expected date is shown sometime in June. On the up side, I got the .38 LC dies and brass within a week.

I had some Beretta mags shipped pretty quickly. Said back orders until march, but got it last week(1 week after order)
