Not sure what item you are talking about. LBT stuff is expensive and is probably the best quality piece of gear available. So sure, it's worth it. Whatever "it" is.

Not the "best" backpack, but certainly a good one. If it is genuine US made LBT gear, it is a nice deal. LBT puts deals out every few months that rival that, so it could certainly be legit.

You want a good backpack, just look for surplus ALICE packs. They are cheap and work great. I have hiked with one and was satisfied.
