Mikulski would have held the door for MoM as her replacement but he had better things to do than be Senator for Life.

He has a hug pension that all of us pay for and few if any of us will enjoy. Plus, he is sure to get a cushy job if HRC wins.

He needs a title befitting a man of his importance.

    1. He can use the money he diverted from roads to buy a brush and a gallon of paint.

    2. Then use supplies to paint lines on the Beltway.

    3. With any luck, he'll only need to raid the general fund for one single gallon of paint.

    Job Problem solved:D

I hate to be the kill joy, but he's doing fine. His net worth might look like it is negative (since it looks like he's borrowed $500K for a house and $300K for student loans), but I suspect his wife has other assets that he does not have to disclose and that most of their net worth is hidden in her accounts.

He's not 'bankrupt'. He's collecting a Mayor of Baltimore pension of $61,000 a year. In 2018, he'll collect a governor's pension of $90,000 a year. Last year he made more than $150,000 in speaking fees (Jet Blue paid him $147K for a series of speeches in 2015). His wife makes $141K as a Baltimore district judge. She'll get a pension too, for life. Together they're pulling in about $350+K a year?

His pensions for life make him more than a millionaire. He's set for life. He just misses his narcissistic lifestyle, being in the game, and making even more money.

This exactly. He's just crying because he's not getting attention.

Plus he's also sitting on 70k in furniture he stole on his way out of the mansion.

I've said before that the job we don't want him to get is HUD secretary.

Can you imagine the swath of destruction in cities across the nation, bringing Baltimore grade degradation into places that have tried to hang on?

Some other liberal HUD secretary will crush the rest of the places that they haven't finished off yet. Don't think it matters if it's Marty or some other POS

His problem is that he spent 8 years as governor. When he needed something, he just raised taxes, or created a new one like taxing the rain. Now that he is out, he wants to continue his lifestyle as is without sacrificing anything. He hasn't yet figured out how to tax people while unemployed, so clearly somebody needs to GIVE him a nice cushy job.
