Hello All,
On Monday 2/27 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM people can submit and/or request in-person testimony, and/or vote favorable for the following three Maryland General Assembly House bills. These bills will be heard by the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, March 1st.
HB 750: Gun Theft Felony Act of 2023
HB 756: Public Safety – Handgun Permits – Expunged Conviction
HB 860: Public Safety - Permit to Wear, Carry, or Transport a Handgun Denial - Refund of Application Fee
These bills are different from most others because they are sponsored by delegates that support the 2nd Amendment and the right to self-defense. Our good friends at Maryland Shall Issue are supportive of these bills.
Please review the proposed bills at the MGA website and voice your opinions and voice your comments on them on Monday, 2/27 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These bills have been put before the House Judiciary Committee by Second Amendment supporters and advocates, so please check them out and submit your opinion and testimony, etc. It's important for these legislators to know they have public support and that we have their back on these issues, so please give these bills a look and voice your opinion, and tell your friends to do the same.
