Unfortunately I have a big head and have a hard time locating proper Soviet artifacts to use, today I finally got a 1967 SSH-60 helmet in size 3 (biggest they made) in the mail from Ukraine, got the Ushanka in Odessa a couple of year back, also the biggest the Soviets made.

I took my college-aged son to try to find an inexpensive, but warm, coat about this time last year. We were looking at a vintage clothing shop, and there, in the middle of all of the usual stuff, was a Soviet Air Corps Lt. Colonel's parade coat ... and it fit him perfectly. The thing is in great condition, and it's warm, heavy wool, but now he feels self-conscious about wearing it in public.
